People love dinner theater, the idea of enjoying a meal while seeing a show has been around since the first dinner theater opened in 1962.  Only six years after that first, Chanhassen dinner theater opened for its first show and its still going strong.  2008 is the 40th anniversary of this popular Minnesota entertainment spot.  A lot of top quality shows play there each year.

‘Expect the Unexpected’ is the motto of the Carousel Dinner Theater in Akron Ohio.  With people busier than ever in the past, recreation time is more important than it’s ever been.  Dinner theater is always an enjoyable experience.

The Carousel calls itself the largest professional dinner theater in the country, but many dinner theaters seem to make that claim.  Whether it really is the largest or not, it is one of the best.  Carousel productions are put on by union members.  That’s not just because the like the unions.  Union talents and workers tend to be the most proficient.
